I was in my differential equations class today and my teacher handed back some papers. The first was a quiz from last Thursday which even though I forgot that there was a quiz that day I did surprisingly well on. The second was a random warmup that we turned in also on Thursday. The warmup had either a +1 or a +2 on it. And my teacher clarified that it was extra credit points; thusly:
"It's extra credit on the next exam. It was either that or an extra ration of rum."
Apparently, he has been reading some books about pirates and it's carrying over to his day job.
Did I mention that I really like my math teacher?
