Dungeon Dwellers

It's going a busy week for me, but I'm going to try my hardest to still not blow off these posts. Also, coming soon to an Earth Day near you is my birthday (which means I'll be debuting my 20 things before 20 list on Thursday).

I meant to talk about this on Saturday, but really wasn't in the right frame of mind to actually write.

I met with my potential DnD group last Friday, and things went very well. They're awesome people and I enjoy DnD a lot. The problem I'm having is that I don't have a lot of spare time to add in another RPG. I'd love to play, but frankly my priorities lie with my guild and Freelancer group. Meaning that if I can reasonably be at home playing Freelancer, thats where I'll be. Also, I love Freelancer (partially because I've almost literally never met Sci Fi I don't like) and I'm quite attached to my character and the plot at this point. So, we'll see how this DnD thing pans out, especially since I'll probably only be in Pomona every other weekend. It should be interesting as I have to think about my character a little bit more from the beginning, as opposed to deciding Kori's personality months in.

Also here a bit of a breakdown of the the player characters (in a very simplified way) so far in the DnD game:

A fighter raised by wolves
A rogue with a secret (me)
A gigolo bard
A man-eater sorcerer
And some sort of wizard (who I don't know as much about)

  1. ...... These people sound very familiar back stories. Oh ya. Kevin was a fighter raised by wolves, Anthony is a wizard who is a gigolo, and james is a halfling rogue cannibal. Ironic that the worst RPer's I know have similar backstories to your new group.

  2. Decisions decisions!!!

You are going to be going home every other weekend next semester? May I ask why, out of sheer curiosity.

  3. Admiral-
I'm sure there are differences; thats a overly simplified list of characters. I hope at least.

    Emma-
That's this quarter.I don't have classes on Friday's so I would go home every weekend but I don't get anything done when I'm at home.
