To let her run circles out in an dewy-grassy field barefoot, letting the blades squish between her toes. She practically banging on the door screaming to be free but, it feels like when to open that door try and she just sits there saying, "Yanow, I think I like it here. I don't want to go outside today after all."
So, I'm in a Catch-22 situation where I want need to get some creativity out, but I'm having trouble finding somewhere to start. It's like and writer's/an artistic block and I haven't even started yet.
I need to write or draw or paint or something! And blogging and puppets just aren't cutting it anymore. I need something bigger and more grand than this... I need one of those all-encompassing projects.
Now on a less frustrated note, some really random things that make me happy:
- Fog, cloudy days, and the "color" gray- I love gray mostly because my eyes are grayish-blue and I I think cloudy skies make for fantastic pictures
- Red felt- for some reason the texture of red felt is better than any other color, its thick but soft
- Black watercolor- while watercolors are known for being light and translucent I love the black because of the smooth, perfectly dark line it produces
