Now that school is in full swing I had a busy week, and thus no new posts. So in an effort to appease my couple of readers I have..... a post with lots of pictures!
Dorm rooms are generally tiny, and let me tell you that mine is no acceptation to that rule. I share my new home with two other girls-- twin sisters actually. And while my dad was determined that I am the messiest person on the planet, I believe that I am actually the neatest resident in room 333.

What I really need for my room is some sort of decoration, I have a lot of empty and white wall space. I also don't really have any pictures printed out. In the wall behind my desk you can see the only picture I have here with me and pinned to the cork board the dinning schedule. Also, on a side note anyone who also reads Emma's blog (Pink Rose, linked on the sidebar) might notice that our bed's look awfully similar-- the robots were intentional; however, the bedspread was not. And when we found out it led to many "lols" and "great-minds-think-alike" comments.
(While changing and experimenting with hosting pictures on Flickr I screwed up some of the links. Sorry about all the edits.)
You do seem very tidy in this dorm room. It is SO important to keep your room clean, or else you feel gross and have a hard time studying. It is easier to keep it clean though because you have to think of your roomates, you have less stuff, you have less time to make a mess, and you are living in a smaller space. I LOVE that we have the same tapestry. I love mine so much! Some decor ideas? Well, you saw what I did with the birds. You are more artistic and photoshop savy than me, so why don't you design something and then painters tape it to the walls, it works wonderful. Also pictures ARE the best. Next time you go home send some into walmart and then tape them to your walls. Some people put them in shapes or words, although that would be a lot of pictures. Also if I were you I couldn't STAND seeing the underside of my mattress, I would buy some solid fabric or even cheap sheets and put the one meant for the bottom on the underside of the mattress. lol. But I would def put some pretty wall decor above your desk, dresser and bed.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I'm totally jealous of your exposed brick, you know how much I love it!
OHOH! What if you put up the pictures you already have printed from AP photo last year? Have your parents send them to you.
